I have a question to all the smart literate people here. Is it unethical to post a link to a page that exists in the internet?

I understand that it is considered wrong to post someone elses picture for discussion in another site. But if a web link is posted to an existing picture gallery then I don't see what is wrong with that. If a picture gallery exists in any website then it is free for viewing for anyone if I am not mistaken.

Yes, you're right cryptonite. Anyone can view the pictures posted on the web (where it is posted). But one should not be copying it from the other websites and post it here for discussion. That is against the person's privacy.

Doesn't apply most cases but i think it kinda does in this case though. Being a nepali and in the nepali community, i kinda know almost all the nepalese here. i know a lot of people who log on to sajha. And also there might be many friends/families who surf sajha. I don't think i want people talk about my wife or sister or mom about how they look, making fun of the clothes they're wearing calling them names. legally, you have the right. ethcally, i would say its not right.
