I think there are bunch of cheap appartments out there. Frist of all are you living alone are with some other friends. If you are living alone get a studio appartment,it wont levy you of much rent. Go look for some appartments towards Hillside, i am sure they are cheaper down there. I think most of the appartments there are affordable.

As far as i know the cheapest apartment is university court apartment which is on 17th and Yale . There are several cheaper apartment down there such as varsity manor.I would recommend the apartment down there because they are very near to wsu but it has demerits too(there is no ac and you need to pay for gas too) but if you have just arrived in wichita and wondering then go for university court apartment. The office is in harry and south oliver (sunrise homes) and the manager and assistant manager are very stupid (they want to check your credit history but you will get approved instantaneously )
