aree it doesnt matter...as long as you maintain good GPA....ppl understand that sometimes things dont work out....but try not to get more than that and plan ahead...ask around about the Professors and the intensity of the courses....what i found helpful was www.ratemyprofessor.com to decide which professor to choose....

if u r on community college and  trying to transfer to university, then i doesnt matter.But if u are in 4 yrs college then dont get too much, as it dont look good to the employer.

i don't think it matters if you have W on your transcript. for employer, what matters is your overall GPA or major GPA.
