Just saw Nepal on the news on CNN. They were showing a Nepali lady news caster reading the news....with a lantern (laaltini) lighting her reading material up. Aru ko desh agadi badirako chha...hamro pachhadi.

Talking about CNN, I know our country holds 0 interest to USA and Egypt being the biggest arabic country has a strategic interest for US, तर यो हरेक मिनट Egypt को न्युज उप्डेट हाम्रो चै के के भा बेला एउटा न्युज सम्म छैन। I guess I understand why but I still feel irritated by this.

Corporate news of US has 0 financial incentive to broadcast any news development from Nepal. Don't be appalled when "news" starts showing ousting of Bristol palin from DWTS instead new government formation in Nepal. That's what happens when news channels starts becoming entertainment channel (i agree with Glenn Beck when he said his program on faux new is entertainment )
I watch american news channel solely for entertainment value and nth else.
