One thing I keep hearing in Sajha is Indian Army take over. I was just curious as to know are Nepali army that weak that we can not even protect ourselves. If so what is the point of having a National army. Just turn them into another police force. Let India handle our army related defense stuff. In terms of our nation being soverign that will never happen especially as long as India is around. I want to hear some of your thoughts on this.

ne23pe; Your question was interesting. Well, a sovereignty of a nation completely depends on its welfare of how it manage to run its state matter and that includes the army. Nepal army is not weak, but yes compared to India army. We cannot have our defense into the hands of any foreign power, then we become a protectorate state like Bhutan and Monaco. As far as Nepali army is concerned, it is well formulated in Nepal. It is how the lawmakers implements the army into scenario and have tougher laws related to security of the state.
